GOTANDA, OSAKI and TAKANAWA are going under a big change because it has been designated as "Urgent Urban Renewal Area". GOTANDA is renewing rapidly and is expected to extend development as it is obvious from the new department stores starting its business one after another. This area includes district called “Jonan Gozan” such as Ikedayama and Shimazuyama, a famous upscale neighborhoods inside Yamanote Line. Ikedayama located near Gotanda station is said to be the highest grade residential area among “Jonan Gozan”. It has a pleasant atmosphere isolated from the bustling of the station front.

OSAKI has an efficient public transportation due to the fact that it is located next to Shinagawa station, and from OSAKI you can also use train lines like Shonan-Shinjuku Line, Saikyo Line and Rinkai Line besides Yamanote Line. In the residential area of OSAKI, there are nice supermarkets and restaurants to support your daily life. OSAKI does not have an area of shopping and entertainment like Shinjuku and Shibuya, but therefore it is safer compared to other areas along Yamanote Line.
Like OSAKI, TAKANAWA is close to SHINAGAWA and it is a calm upscale neighborhood.
